THE MOU TARGET FOR THE YEAR 2010-11
NPCC has achieved the turnover of Rs.1053 Crore (Unaudited) and
Profit amounting to Rs.37
Crores (Unaudited) against MOU Target of Turnover Rs.990
crores (Excellent) and Profit of Rs. 19.25 Crores (Excellent)
signed with MOWR for the year 2010-11.

Shri
Salman Khurshid lays Foundation Stone for NPCC’s Office Complex
in Gurgaon
Shri Salman Khurshid, Hon’ble Union Minister of Water Resources
laid foundation stone of NPCC’s Office Complex at Gurgaon on 22nd
March, 2011. He was accompanied by Shri Vincent H Pala, Hon’ble
Minister of State for Water Resources, Shri Dhruv Vijai Singh,
Secretary, MOWR along with Addl. Secretary and Joint Secretary
of the Ministry.
After laying the foundation-stone, the Hon’ble Minister of State
for Water Resources, Shri Vincent H Pala congratulated NPCC for
their initiative to build this Office Complex with a new concept
of Green Building.
The Hon’ble Minister of Water Resources, Shri Salman Khurshid,
while addressing the gathering, stated that NPCC has made
commendable progress in terms of increased turnover and
congratulated Shri. A K JHAMB, CMD, NPCC and his team for making it possible to construct
its own building complex and extended his good wishes to the
Corporation in the future.

NPCC signs MOU
with the Ministry of Water Resources for 2011-12
The MOU for 2011-12 has
been signed between Secretary, Ministry of Water Resources, GOI,
Shri Dhruv Vijai Singh, IAS & CMD, NPCC, Shri A. K. Jhamb on 15th
March, 2011.
As per this MOU, NPCC
has set ambitious targets for achieving Turnover of Rs.1158
crores, which is likely to earn 35 crores margin. NPCC is also
committed for ISO Certification, 90% Customer Satisfaction and
will strive to secure Business to the tune of 1000 crores during
the year 2011-12 and more than 2000 crores turnover by 2015-16
and with other dynamic specific parameter for Excellence in
Performance, become a world- class engineering projects
implementing organization. During signing of the MOU, Shri G
Mohan Kumar, IAS, Additional Secretary, Shri Sudhir Garg, IAS,
Joint Secretary, MOWR, Director (Finance), NPCC and other
senior officers of MOWR & NPCC were also present.

NPCC Bags CIDC’s “Vishwakarma Award 2011” for “Best
Professionally Managed Company.”
Construction Industry Development Council (CIDC) established
by Planning Commission has adjudged NPCC as the “Best
Professionally Managed Company” and presented it in its “3rd
Vishwakarma Award 2011” function held on 07th March,
2011 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The award was received
by Shri A. K. Jhamb, CMD, NPCC

SIGNS MOU WITH (IGNTU) AND BAGS HIGHEST EVER
CONTRACT OF RS. 250 CRORES
NATIONAL PROJECTS CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION
LIMITED (NPCC) and INDIRA GANDHI NATIONAL TRIBAL UNIVERSITY (IGNTU)
have signed an MOU on 28th February, 2011. As per
this MOU, NPCC shall carry out construction of buildings on
Turnkey basis and handover the buildings to Indira Gandhi
National Tribal University, Amarkantak, in ready to occupy
conditions
The first contract awarded by IGNTU to NPCC to construct its
University Campus at Amarkantak is to the tune of Rs. 250 Crores
which is the highest ever contract bagged by the corporation.

Bags the Contract for Senior Secondary School Buildings in Delhi
NPCC has recently bagged work of construction of
7 no. Senior School buildings in Delhi for an estimated cost of
Rs. 82 crores from the DIRECTORATE OF EDUCATION ,GOVT OF DELHI.
THIS IS FOR THE FIRST TIME THAT GOVT OF DELHI HAS ENGAGED ANY
CPSE FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SCHOOLS ON NOMINATION BASIS

NPCC TURNS
AROUND
National Projects Construction Corporation Limited (NPCC) at
present, is working at more than 400 project sites spread all
over the country. These include IBB Fencing works in Tripura,
Mizoram, Assam & Meghalaya, Assam Rifle works in different
states of North east, irrigation & river Valley Projects,
Hydroelectric projects, Thermal Projects, Industrial Structures
& other miscellaneous projects. Although NPCC was under losses
for many years, it has shown commendable performance in terms of
Turnover and net profit. While Turnover of the Corporation
during the year 2009-10 was 1002.92 crores which is a milestone
for this organization, its net profit recorded is Rs. 33.14
crores. New business has been secured to the tune of Rs. 730
crores.

SIGNS MOU WITH TCIL
National Projects Construction Corporation Limited, a Govt. of
India Enterprise under the Ministry of Water Resources and M/s
TCIL, also a Government of India Enterprise, signed an MOU on
21st December, 2010 for participating in identified
tenders in civil infrastructure such as bridges, flyovers,
Buildings and townships, Roads, Dams, irrigation canals and in
power sector for joint execution by TCIL and NPCC and on award
of these contracts, both parties shall execute the same jointly
on mutually exclusive basis.
The MOU was signed by Shri A. K. Jhamb, CMD, NPCC and Shri R. K.
Upadhyay, CMD, TCIL

NPCC SIGNS MOU WITH
WAPCOS
National Projects
Construction Corporation Limited, a pioneer and undisputed
leader in the field of construction and M/s WAPCOS Limited, a
Mini Ratna PSU signed an MOU on 15th December 2010
for identifying and bidding jointly, infrastructure projects in
India & abroad relating to Irrigation, flood control, water
supply projects etc. and on award, executing the same jointly.
The MOU was signed by Shri A. K. Jhamb, CMD, NPCC and Shri R. K.
Gupta, CMD,. As per terms of this MOU, NPCC and WAPCOS will
jointly make efforts to secure identified projects for related
fields on mutually exclusive basis.
